A commission from flamehead!

He gave me a sigmate of a story he is working on dealing with his character who can enter stories. He asked if I can draw one scene from the short sigmate he gave me. I had trouble keeping it to a one panel illustration. His story screamed "comic page!"

Good thing I don't charge per hour for line work. I noodled so many different versions and with so many different perspective and number of pannels before I forced my self to pick one and start coloring.

Though I normally don't wanna spend over 6 hours coloring on a project for the sake of person paying yet this took me 7 hours and 54 minutes. *winces* Sorry about that flamehead.....:(



PS. Can you guess which deviant artist's coloring style/pallet I borrowed for this piece? ...Thats right alexds1! Who's awesome web comic The Meek inspires me greatly!

I can see the inspiration for the coloring - it definitely does look 'The Meek'-ish. :D (Such an amazing comic.)
Also, older!Toph looks awesome! Lovely work! ^^

wow...almost 8 hours? *faints*

I'm just in shock someone would care enough to work on something that long. Gah, it really shows tho--this is by and far the highlight of my day, and even though it's monday it'll probably end up being the highlight of my week too. ^^

this is beyond awesome. It's also beyond phenomenal. it's...awesomenal.
